Chapter 13: Ahhhhhh!!!
Ahhhhhh!!!
The muffled gunshots rang as soon as the Gao Hai’s piercing wail reverberated. It might be easy for Lu Zhaoyang to turn a deaf ear to the gunshots, but not the wail.
She first froze for a few seconds, then her head stiffly turned to the lying president who had bleeding holes on all limbs by then. Gao Hai, with his deformed limbs, was having a convulsion. He could not stop screaming.
“Ahhhhhh!!!”
Lu Zhaoyang decided to turn a blind eye to the horror, as she could not breathe properly over the morbid scene.
“Well, Huo Li,” said Huo Yunting as he blew the muzzle of his gun nonchalantly, “Send our President Gao to the door, so that he could drive home, *by himself*. You’ll watch him.”
“…”
Lu Zhaoyang’s eyes enlarged dramatically, staring right at Huo Yunting in serenity. She had been long in astonishment after the intoxication.
You literally crippled President Gao, how the hell would he drive home himself? You just want to make him die the gruesome way, don’t you?
Huo Li darted to Gao Hai as his palm held the crying hog’s mouth, only to drag the hog out, “You should be glad to be this fortunate, Mr. Gao. Brother Huo didn’t kill you straightaway after all. He just wanted to play games with you. Heh.” They left the scene, leaving a trail of blood behind.
Lu Zhaoyang could feel her pores oozing fear.
Huo Yunting walked back to her and grabbed her up like a princess, “Let go of me!” And Huo Yunting gave her the cold gaze treatment.
“If you don’t want me to screw you here, you better be a good girl.”
And Lu Zhaoyang immediately played dead like a puppet for first-aid practice, as she closed her eyes and calmed her mind.
Amidst the silence, she could hear beats coming from Huo Yunting’s chest. For some reason, the ASMR sensation managed to calm her down.
W-why…
What’s going…on…
mm…
Perhaps it was because of the alcohol or the intense fight just now, she was extremely fatigued by then. Her eyelids felt heavy…
Huo Yunting carried his precious princess to his ride.
Lu Zhaoyang was soundly asleep on her seat, as occasionally ridiculous words escaped from her lips.
They then returned to the bungalow. He held her in his embrace, as they strolled through the fine garden behind, into the living room. He gave brief nods at the greeting maids and walked upstairs straight after. He kicked the door open and tossed his woman right onto the bed.
“Hmm…?” Lu drowsily rubbed her eyes, as she gave a goofy laugh, “Weh izz thizz…?”
Huo Yunting raised his brows, intrigued by the clumsy girl crawling to the center of the bed, as she tried to open her eyes straight while giggling like a fool.
Dang.
Huo had known the girl for quite some time yet it was his first time to see her playing the fool like this. It was horribly stupid but also unexpectedly cute.
“Hmhmmmmmmm??” She tilted her head and glanced at Huo Yunting.
She then grabbed him by his collar.
“Tsk.” Huo Yunting walked forward, the girl probably wanted her sleeping kiss again.
Lu Zhaoyang stood up with poor coordination. She tapped his shoulders a few times, seemed to be signalling something. But Huo Yunting was not moving at all. “Mhm!” Her lips pursed. She then dragged him down stronger.
The confusing development had gotten the complete interest of Huo Yunting, as he cooperatively squatted down in front of her.
Lu Zhaoyang then smiled happily. It was a rather sincere, bright smile, unlike the usual stiff and awkward laugh she pulled to keep the conversation going. Huo could even see the little dimple on her right cheek under the two joyful curves above.
It was naïve, yet so alluring.
Huo Yunting could not help but smile a bit, but that was when Lu started ruffling his hair.
Like a pet?
“Good puppy. Good, good. Looks so cute!”
