The half-closed door was pushed open once again.

Gu Yusheng thought it was Lu Bancheng coming back. Without looking at the person, he said straightforwardly, “Lu Bancheng, are you finished?”

The person who had pushed the door open was shocked and paused halfway through. After about two minutes had passed, a head poked out carefully from behind the door. “Mr. Gu, it’s me.”

Hearing Xiaowang’s voice, Gu Yusheng was slightly stunned.After a few seconds, Gu Yusheng pinched the ash on the sheets randomly with one hand. He put the cigarette to his mouth with the other and inhaled deeply.

“Well, it’s still raining, and it’ll be difficult for her to take a taxi in such a bad weather. Should I drive her home?” Seeing that Gu Yusheng remained calm, Xiaowang plucked up the courage to ask directly.
