If You’re Jealous, Just Say It

While sitting in the car, Mo Rao didn’t speak. Fu Ying, who was beside her, didn’t say a word either.

“The movie isn’t bad.” After a while, Fu Ying said, “I’ve already sent movie tickets to everyone in the company.”

Mo Rao was shocked. Wasn’t Fu Ying a little too supportive?

“You played the role of a lawyer very well. You gave off the vibe of a professional,” Fu Ying continued, as if he was evaluating Mo Rao’s movie. “It’s just that I don’t like that police officer.”

The policeman was played by Zhu Ye. Mo Rao immediately understood that Fu Ying wasn’t evaluating the movie, but was just expressing his jealousy.

“If you’re jealous, just say it. Don’t beat around the bush.” Mo Rao was speechless and couldn’t help but say.

Fu Ying pursed his lips. “I just can’t stand other men treating you well.”

“Didn’t we agree that we’ll be siblings? In that case, there’s no need for you to care. Besides, Zhu Ye and I are just doing this for the movie.” Mo Rao repeatedly reminded Fu Ying of their relationship.

“If you want the movie’s box office to be good, I can pay for your publicity or book the entire venue.” Fu Ying was willing to spend money on Mo Rao.

When Mo Rao saw that Fu Ying wanted to solve everything with money, she wanted to laugh.

“President Fu, although money is omnipotent, it’s not the only useful thing. You should save your money. This is part of my job,” Mo Rao said.

Fu Ying suddenly reached out to hug Mo Rao and said in a low voice, “I’m willing to give you all my assets.”

Mo Rao broke free from Fu Ying’s arms in a panic and warned, “Don’t touch me again.”

Fu Ying sized her up with a smile. Mo Rao’s face was already flushed and she was curled up in the corner like a flustered rabbit.

Seeing her like this, Fu Ying felt like he had returned to the past.

He scooped Mo Rao back, then he let go of her and asked, “What are you afraid of? I won’t eat you. The back seat is so spacious. Sit properly.”

Mo Rao glanced at Fu Ying. Wasn’t this man scary enough? She was indeed afraid that Fu Ying would eat her up.

As Fu Ying sent Mo Rao back, Qu You was walking into a restaurant cautiously.

Today was the day she met up with Yang Shu.

Although she didn’t want to go on a blind date, she was curious, so she dressed up and went to the appointment obediently.

Qu You planned to inquire at the entrance of the restaurant first and confirm that this man was handsome before entering.

For the first time, she realized that a blind date could actually be so covert.

Qu You looked at the seat she had reserved beforehand. A man was already sitting there.

From afar, he looked motionless, like a statue.

He was tall and slender, wearing gold-rimmed glasses, and had fair skin. He was leaning against the chair while waiting for Qu You to arrive.

Qu You was quite satisfied with Yang Shu’s appearance, so she brushed her hair and walked towards him with a smile.

“Hello, I’m Qu You.” Qu You walked to the table and extended her hand enthusiastically.

Yang Shu shook his hand with a smile and said, “Yang Shu.”

After sitting opposite Yang Shu, Qu You realized that this man was even more handsome up close.

The almond-shaped eyes behind the glasses were filled with affection, and the slight smile on his lips added a hint of gentleness to him.

“As expected of someone called Yang Shu. You have a scholarly vibe.” Qu You had always been straightforward, so she said, “I heard that you’re a university professor?”

“Yes.” Yang Shu spoke very little and his voice was gentle. He had a completely different vibe from Qu You.

Qu You didn’t know what to say for a moment. She could only smile awkwardly and pick up the menu. “I’ll order something first. Just treat it as completing the elders’ mission this time.”

“This is my first blind date, so I’m still a little nervous,” Yang Shu said calmly, but there was a hint of panic in his eyes.

Qu You looked up at him and saw that the man’s fingers were intertwined. It was obvious that he was at a loss.

She suddenly felt that this man was a little cute. At least, he was different from the men she had interacted with before.

“It’s okay. It’s my first time too. Just treat it as meeting a new friend,” Qu You said aloofly.
